As we head into Spring it is a good time to take stock of everything you have accomplished during the year, and what you can do to ensure you reach any outstanding goals before the year is out. 

Our Masterclass Conference series took us to Brisbane this week for our biggest ever Conference- way to go Queensland. The Melbourne Program has now been released so check out the great line up of speakers coming to the Sofitel Melbourne on Collins.  The Perth program will be released in the next couple of weeks and we are busy putting the final touches on the brand new series for Sydney 2019. We have a heap of new networking events around the country being added to the calendar as we speak, so keep an eye on the networking events page under the member resources section.

Getting the most out of your time off

There's no question about it - EAs work hard, so when you have time off you'll want to make the most of it in order to come back refreshed and ready for more. But how do you make sure you're using your vacation wisely?

It's all about asking yourself what you want from your break.

For some, they'll want to escape to another life, another country and get away from everything they have at home for a while. For others, the appeal of time off is that you get to do nothing and can simply relax.

HOT Tip: How to remove STATIC from your stockings –
Simple as…………….

Water. Wetting your hands and then lightly running them over the garment desensitizes the static electricity, allowing your dress to fall normally.

A can of aeresol hairspray. Holding it eight inches away and spritzing the inside of your clothing helps stop static cling instantly. Note: If you're wearing hosiery or leggings, spray your stockings instead of your clothing.

Wow… over a year of hard work by all our designers, builders and party planners made Half Acre’s first event last Saturday night one not to be forgotten!

With our builders on site till the eleventh hour, Munro Street mill was transformed and ready to be decked out with flowers, towers and a touch of decadence for the first time ever. The mill’s exposed brick walls and soaring timber ceilings were the perfect backdrop for chinking glasses and roaming canapés (blinis, anyone?) as we helped our first client celebrate with cocktails and 400 of their family and friends. (Some of our builders even stuck around to make sure everything went to plan!)
