Our membership sale is now in full swing, with hundreds of you taking advantage of this special offer so far. So remember, from now until the end of June, members can renew, upgrade or extend their membership for the amazingly good value rate of $80 plus GST.

For Associate Members, you get to experience the many benefits of membership for the next 12 months at the ridiculously low cost of $80 plus GST

And for existing Members, well either renew or extend your membership for a further 12 months and save 20% off the normal rate. So even if your full membership doesn’t expire for some months, you can extend for a further 12 months beyond that date now. Our system automatically calculates your expiry date and adds 12 months to then.

From the Chat Room to the Member Directory, archived articles, videos and papers, there are so many reasons to choose to be a full Member. So, whether a renewing Member, an Associate Member of non-member, what are you waiting for. This deal only lasts up until June 30th.

Last year approximately 40% of current Members made use of the EOFY discount rate. So it really is worth doing. As always, we have a number of networking events either just happened or about to so please keep an eye on the events page to see what exciting events are coming up.

Get a grip on your email

It cannot be said enough: to be a successful Executive Assistant, you need to be incredibly organised, especially when it comes to email. Follow these three steps to start organising your email:

1. Clear it out every now and then

It's hard to even begin thinking about cleaning up your email completely, but you have to to do at some point. This means deleting every single email you no longer need and organising all others in folders. The important thing to remember is to hold onto any email you think you may need to access again.

This may take a long time if you have been a disorganised email user for years. But it is necessary; you wouldn't open every letter you received and leave it on the counter without filing it or throwing it away, the Muse writes.

DARE THE BOSS IS BACK AGAIN FOR 2017 – TIME TO START DARING!

Something you may know about the leaders of Executive Assistant Network is that they are avid supporters of Children’s Cancer Institute. Something you may not know is that this year 950 families in Australia will hear the words “your child has cancer.” Every week, 3 Australian children will die of cancer. 50 years ago cancer was a nearly always a death sentence, now 8 out of 10 children survive their cancer. But almost all of them will carry life long side effects. Executive Assistant Network doesn’t think this is good enough.

Children’s Cancer Institute is the only independent medical research facility wholly dedicated to curing childhood cancer. Executive Assistant Network are dedicated to support Children’s Cancer Institute in their efforts to find a cure for all children. EAN have partnered with them to advocate their national campaign “Dare the Boss” and invite all members of Executive Assistant Network to get involved and start daring.
