Why are we holding this event?
Cancer is the number one cause of disease related death in children and Children’s Cancer Institute exists solely to put an end to childhood cancer.
Fifty years ago, cancer was nearly always a death sentence for a child. Thanks to advances in medical research that number has increased to 80 percent a remarkable achievement as any family with a child who has survived it knows.
It’s only through fundraising from supporters that it is possible to make these strides.
Are you in?
